If You Were My Best Friend....

A while ago, several lovely bloggers did this. I don't really know who started it, so I can't give links, but just remember it's not my idea. ;)

If you were my best friend, you'd know...

 

 

...that I am tall. Awkwardly tall for my age, haha. People have been know to think that I'm three years older than I am.

 

....that I hate most pink nail polishes for no reason at all. I have a few corals and light pinks scattered through out my collection, but I stick mainly with blue.

 

...that I can sew, knit, and embroider.

 

....that if you're looking away from me I will draw you, stranger or not. XD

 

 

 

 

 

... I'm fairly socially awkward. Like, I won't talk to you if I don't have a reason to {or something interesting to say...}. Which is probably my downfall, but whatever. -.-

 

... I make weird faces and talk funny a lot. I will come up to you and say something completely random and then walk away as if completely normal. Wahahahaha!

.... I absolutely hate fish. The eating kind and the pets. Bad, bad memories.... O_O

1. What made you decide to start blogging?

Okay, so, if you went back to the first few glory days weeks or so of my blog, you would find doll related everything. So basically, I started off simply to post off about my dolls. Then about after six-months I decided to change it to what it is now--Real. {hehehe}

 

2. What is your fashion style?

Erm... well, I don't really... have a fashion style. I'm all over the place. Most weeks days I'm geared towards comfy, over the weekends I actually go out, so I look better on those days. haha.

 

3. What is something none of your followers know about you?

That I really, really like green smoothies--I like the taste, I like that you can add practically anything to it and it's still yummy. I actually just had one, so--...

 

4. What are some of your blogging goals?

Urm, well... a ten year old doesn't start off with many goals. That was a few years ago ;) but nothing has really sticked with me that I'd like to do. Maybe... post more often. Have more pictures, and get a larger amount of followers. :)

 

5. Where is your favorite place to shop?

Clothing-wise, I love Old Navy... Plato's Closet... book-wise I'm probably a used book store place. Not only do the books smell divine, they're not nearly so expensive -.-

 

6. What would your ideal amount of blog followers be?

I'd love to have around 172 {I just like that number.} but I am really content with where I am. Thank you all!


7. What are your talents?

Drawing... writing... I guess...urm... I really have no idea where all the others went. ;)

 

 

8. Are you a leader or a follower?

I guess it just depends. If it's something I'm comfortable with, I'll probably be the leader, but if it's not ''safe territory''.... uh, you can go first.

 

9. What is one of your favorite quotes?

Oh my goodness.... how do I even answer this? I have so many quotes stuck back here in my brain and to choose just one? -.- Maybe the Isak Dinesen beach quote? Here we go:

10. Do you have a favorite book or book series?

No. Just no--I refuse to answer this one, I have too many favorites. XD

 

 

11. Out of all the synonyms for elegant, which would you describe yourself with {smart - stylish - dressy -graceful - dainty - fine}?

Not meaning to toot my own horn or anything.... *toot toot*, but I would maybe describe myself as stylish? You know, when I'm not drowning in chocolate.

 

 

12. What is your favorite flower?

I looked up posies the other day and realized I really liked them... maybe posies with baby's breath. :)

The Stairs {A Short Story}

 

I look out the window and sigh. It's a beautiful day.

The grass couldn't be greener, the flowers couldn't be any prettier.

As I sigh once more, I look down the long flight of steps. Cobwebs covered every inch, I hadn't been down them for so long.

I could go down them...., I tell myself. I image walking calmly down those steps, right down to the front door, and opening it. Walking outside and smelling the crisp, clean spring air and lying in the posies.

And yet... I don't. I turn back, another sigh dancing on my lips.

Me {a Link-Up}

Britt from Encouragement For Everyday Struggles had a photo link-up. Basically, what you do is find photos that tell your followers about you {mostly from pinterest....haha}. A lot of people have been doing things like this, so I guess I'm just jumping on the bandwagon. ;)

My Wall.

There's this special place in my room... er, rather, wall in my room. Not only does it make me really happy to look at, but it's the only wall in my room that is decorated {excluding paint and that stuff--you know ;)}.
I thought I'd share it with you {click on the pictures to enlarge}:

A horrible done quote {I tried to make it look pretty, but I did a horrible job on that, so--no show-y!}, this fake tattoo that also sticks to walls, and a little paper thingy that proudly states that these ''daffodils were hand picked in the fertile green fields of Ireland.''

 A quote that was SO much better done. I can actually show you guys this one. ;)

 I have a little list thingy on my wall to write down anything I want to remember--mainly names of books I want to read. See any you've read on this list?

Nail Polish

That word alone makes me happy.

It sorta sprang out of the blue, but now that I'm older, I adore that stuff. Naillll polisshhhhh.

 

Earlier last week, I tried this. Basically, it's a pale pink, with gold glitter starting from the base and gradually getting lighter and stopping {before it hits your nail tip.}. It was loosely based off this. I used Sally Hansen's Pink A Card, and Julep's Oscar. It didn't turn out the best, but all in all I had fun with it.

 

There isn't much that is better than a glitter and nail-polish project. All I did was a coat or two of nail polish over bobby pins/clips, then let it dry. If you want a tutorial, let me know. ;) {By the way, this wasn't my idea.}

{I promise, not another one of ''those'' posts}

Everybody's posting about a new month and I'm over here, having my own mini Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon. Good times, my friends.

Again, I promise pictures will be up soon. Just a few technicals difficulties.

Anywho, I got stuff today, and that just makes me all over happy. Yeahhhhh. I'm pretty sure I've asked you this before, but hey, I've gotten more followers since that, so I'll ask it again....

Is there anything you want me to review?

I have some ideas but I haven't really ''made a move'' towards them yet. You know, books, body products, whatever. {I'm also quite open to post ideas, because lately my posts have all been ''last-minute-,-no-pictures posts. Rather pathetic, really.} ;)

{Last minute edit: oh, yeah, and I'm not vegan anymore. It was never really going to be a permanent thing, so... I'm not sure if I want to stay on my meat and dairy lovin' diet {not like a diet diet.. actually what I eat normally} or do somewhat vegan. Right now I'm leaning towards the somewhat vegan. {Which is, eat mostly vegan but not beat myself up if I eat some dairy/meat/eggs occasionally}.
