One more follower until seventy. *Gasp!*

Isn't that exciting? Thank you to everybody who has followed me, I never imagined I'd get this far! Isn't it sad it'll all be deleted June 1st {or July 1st... I forget}?! Grr. Now I'm going to have to ''rebuild'' my followers on Bloglovin'.
{You probably already know this because everybody's buzzing about it, but I'm just going to be ''repeat-y''. Google Reader and reportedly Google Friends Connect is closing either June or July 1st. On Bloglovin' you can follow your favorite blogs, make a profile, and read blogs. Basically it's Google Reader and GFC smashed together. Because of GFC closing, you won't be able to read my blog anymore unless you follow via Bloglovin'. So, if you don't want to follow anymore, you've got an easy way out.;) But if you do, please follow via Bloglovin'. There is a button on my sidebar above the GFC. Thanks!}

So, life right now.

*Started swim team. It's every night except for Friday, and Saturdays are meets. It also means that I'm going to miss Youth Group, which I can officially go into this June. Grrr. {haha, Blogger takes ''grrr'' with three Rs in it, but not two. {How many Rs? Six.}}

*Went to Plato's Closet for the first time ever. IT IS AMAZING. Plato's closet is a consignment store. Just the feeling of it is cool and funky, and the workers are nice. Also, they have amazing clothes and deals. I got a Charlotte Russe dress for ten dollars. In good condition and everything. :)

*I've been writing a lot. Before I didn't really have Writer's Block, but rather I was suffering from laziness. And Pinterest.

Anyway, I really am planning a real post for you sometime. I just haven't taken any pictures yet. :D

Review // LynBDesigns

{For 50% off your entire order enter ''WHOISCLARA'' {without the quotation marks...} before you order anything from LynBDesigns}

I'm a nail-polish-y person. Is this actually quite a new thing to me {before I didn't really care how my nails looked}, and I love adding to my collection!

 I am a major geek, and I'm not afraid to show it. I let my geekiness guide my products, whether it be a nail polish inspired by Doctor Who or a lip balm inspired by mining ruins in the UP. I love God, my family, my animals, and all things British. I am a complete Anglophile, and I think you'll start to see this more and more in my products.

Wait, Wait, Wait. Is This a Kissing Book from the "Dweam Wiffim a Dweam" Collection

Newly Reformulated Angels Have the Phonebox from "The Doctor Is In" Collection

LynBDesigns has a large collection to choose from! It was very hard to choose one and I ended up sending LynBDesigns the two ones I liked best and having them choose one!

In the end Don't Torture Me {from the Dweam Wiffim A Dweam Collection} was sent to me!

 {pinky finger: two coats. ring finger: one coat, middle finger: two coats, pointer finger: three coats, thumb: three coats}

It took two-three even coats of nail-polish to get to the color in the bottle. I absolutely loved the color, even though I am not a purple fan! The white flakes makes the nail-polish even prettier and it makes it stand out more.

Cons:
There were a few hairs in the polish. I was totally fine with this {my hair is super short and it gets everywhere. Really, I'm surprised I'm not bald}, but I thought some people might not be.

Pros:
It was super easy to apply.
It came fast and undamaged.
It was easy to take off.
It is so pretty!

All in all, I'd give it:

Three and a half stars {1-5}

Would I buy nail-polish from LynBDesigns?
Not unless I found one I really liked. It has nothing to do with the nail-polish but the price is what would stop me. Compared to other home-made nail-polishes on Etsy, the price isn't that bad. But books are getting expensive, my friends.

Would I suggest you buy one?
If you found a color you liked and were willing to pay the price for it, then yes!

Thank you LynBDesigns for the fun review!

Nail-polish was sent to me by LynBDesigns for the sole purpose of reviewing it.
This was a totally honest review, and all of it, unless other said, are my own words.

I choke on air. {plus a story, about me choking}

Seriously.
If I was kidding, I would not be typing this with a solemn face. So, this is the more informational part, so you'll understand why my story is rather ridiculous.
When I want to stop drinking, what usually happens is that my body seems to understand this before my brain does, though, so what happens is that my mouth is wide open and my drink is falling into my lap while I'm still trying to drink it. Yes, I have been laughed at {not in a mean kind of way, but more of ''you're ridiculous but I love you'' type of way}. Sometimes, I'll be drinking {normally} and suddenly make the choking noises. I've never actually choked {or been in threat of it while this was happening}, but my body/brain reflexes and makes me spit it out.
Now that we're done with the informational part, it's story time.
I was walking to my car {not mine, but ''ours''. It makes more sense to call it mine for now, though} and sipping my ice tea. I took a huge gulp and started ''choking'' on it. Reflexively I spit it out {on the pavement, in public. Not my best moment} and kept walking my merry way to my car.
I heard a soft laughing noise though, and I turned around {not a full-body turn, but a head turn...} and saw a young, cute-ish guy {who, obviously, had seen me spit out my ice tea}. He wasn't laughing in a mean kind of way, but more ''with me'' {had I been laughing}. Seeing him laugh made me realize how happily ridiculous I am and I laughed, too.
''That wasn't pretty,'' I said loudly and laughingly, getting into my car. I'm not sure whether I said that to me, him, or everybody in general.

Anyway, that amused me, and I hoped it amused you, too. Do you have a habit of choking... when you're not really choking?

Lately

Lately:

  • Helping choreography a one-minute long dance. It's harder than it sounds.
  • Doing fun blog stuff-a-dees. If you'd like to sponsor a giveaway, please email me here: madeline.blueberry@gmail.com
  • Testing. I actually like testing...
  • Reading The Host. Despite the fact it's written by ''the Twilight woman'' {whoever wrote Twilight, I can't remember her name.}, it's actually quite good. And ''the Twilight woman's'' writing isn't bad, either.
  • Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. I haven't had any it what seems like forever.

Bye-ya for now.

Spirit Ink // Review

Spirit Ink is an etsy shoppe that sells fake tattoos. All of their tattoos {unless in a collection} come in two, a large one of whatever design you're ordering and a exact smaller one. They have something for everyone and all of their tattoos are so pretty. :)

Today I have the pleasure of reviewing tattoos from Spirit Ink. :)

Founders Hayon, Jennifer and Sophia, friends since elementary school, have always had a fascination with tattoos. But being deathly afraid of needles didn’t help with their desire for getting inked. On a quest for temporary tattoos, the only selection found were of kitschy dragons and Chinese characters.

The girls then decided to collaborate to make SPIRIT INK, a fresh take on temporary tattoos, for those who also appreciate the artistry but who don’t want to commit to the permanency or pain. The SPIRIT INK girls hand cut and pack every order and hope to bring a little joy to each customer.

Spirit Ink Temporary Tattoo - Balloon

Spirit Ink Temporary Tattoo - Eighth Note

Spirit Ink sent me a temporary arrow tattoo and a temporary chevron tattoo

It came undamaged with a postcard {yay! I like sending people pretty letters/postcards...} and clear, easy-to-follow instructions on how to put on my tattoos.

 The smaller arrow tattoo.
 {That's a sink, I promise.} The larger chevron tattoo
Smaller chevron tattoo {that's my little brother's arm}

Pros:
Clear, easy-to-follow instructions
The tattoos came off easily using the time instructions suggested
Looks nice
Didn't start to chip for a day {I'm usually pretty active and always doing something so I was impressed.}

Cons:
It was hard to remove the plastic on the smaller tattoos.
The ''invisible shine''. It's hard to describe; because it's more of a thing you need to see. See if you can see it around my tattoos.

I quite liked these! It took about a minute to put both tattoos on and it was very easy. It's also just fun to look at. :)

I give these tattoos/Spirit Ink...

Five stars!! {1-5}

Would I buy a tattoo from Spirit Ink?

Totally! I had lots of fun with this review and it satisfied my desire to ''get inked'' for a while. {Now you know another thing about me; I want to get tattooed when I'm old enough but probably won't. ;)}

Would I suggest you buy one?

If you find a design you like, yes. It's easy to put on and the price isn't bad. It's two dollars rounded up {in other words, $1.95}, so that would be like one dollar for each tattoo {they come in a set of two}.

I received these free of charge for the sole purpose of reviewing,
this is a totally honest review and all of my review are my own words.

Pepper Belly and Random Thoughts

Do you know what a pepper belly is?
It's a person who likes spicy food/likes to add hot sauce and spicy spices {hehe} to their food. Almost everybody in my family is a pepper belly {everybody but my mom and me. I don't think she minds it, I think she just doesn't add it often}.
I'm talking about serious pepper bellies here.... it's not decent food till there's at least five different hot sauces and spices on it.
I've never liked hot food. If it's on there naturally that's okay, but I don't feel the need to add spiciness to my food. But lately, I've been loving it. LURVE LURVE LURVE. {sorry, I just felt the need to be obnoxious there}. It brings out the party flavor! {I was going to say party but then I imagined dancing sausages and confetti and little colored plastic bowls of chips on a side table and I decided NO.}

Earlier today I was writing a message to a sponsor and I accidentally misspelled a word and didn't correct it before I sent off the message. Rather embarrassing I must say.

Anyway, I've noticed I don't write these sort of posts often. If something exciting happens I normally tell you, but all I really post about are reviews, Pinterest things, and important-ish stuff. But I don't really mind this so I don't know why I don't do it more often. I think I'm just scared that if it doesn't have pictures you won't like it. ;p

P.S. The Purple Laugh giveaway is still open. To enter, visit the post below this one. :)
