Hair Accessories DIYCYA

Are you wondering what DIYCYA means? Well, let me tell you! :) DIYCYA is Do It Yourself 'Cuz You're Awesome!

DIYCYA: HAIR ACCESSORIES

I love push-ups, and I always thought there was something I could use the bottom for. And so, here comes the DIYCYA!

 You will need:

A hot glue gun
scrap-book tape {optional}
flower or something to put on the push-up bottom
push-up bottom
 Using your hot glue gun, put a small swirl of glue on your push-up bottom.
 Put your flower on top and press.
 I didn't just use only crochet flowers, I also used fabric flowers!
 For this type of fabric flower, you will need:
Fabric petals
glue gun
scrap-book tape {optional}
push-up bottom
 Place a small drop of glue on your push-up bottom, and press a petal on it. Place a small drop of glue on the petal, and press the next petal on it. If you are using different colored petals, use the next color.
 Repeat until you have used the rest of your petals, or until you are done.

 They are almost done!
 Using your scrap book tape, tape it around the sides of the push-up bottom.
 If your scrap book tape is too big, like mine, you could cut it, or fold it over to the inside side.

   This is what it looks like it my hair! You can't see the scrap-book tape, but it adds a nice touch. :)
If you do this, be sure to tell me, and add the link! :)
P.S. I might be interested in selling some AG dolls and clothes! Any suggestions for where to sell {EX: Amazon, Ebay...}, or tips? :)

23 August 2012

hey you. yeah, you.

{Look at me, going all 'offical' and not capitalizing my words and adding periods! ;)}
Last Saturday was the end of 6 weeks. And if you know what that means....

Then you know this..
 The package finally arrived! What was in it, you ask???
 {My ears grew bigger over the course of six weeks ;)}

 Some pearl earrings! Yes, it has been six weeks! Woot hoo! I've only tried gold earrings and these have some sort of special backs, so they won't kill my ears. I plan on going to Claire's and getting some normal, cute {cheap!} earrings, and testing them out. They also gave me coupons {when I got my ears pierced-- got to Claire's!}, so that's a bonus! :)

P.S. Update on the little boy:
He's okay. He tends to make chocolate out of honey {a.k.a. drama queen}, so I should of noticed. The guilt has vanished. I put his arm holder thingy on {he took it off} and declared I was ''injured. Give me a cookie,''. BTW, I didn't get a cookie. :P

Soup The Day!

Believe me, I laughed at myself, too!
 While I was enjoying my soup, I realized fall and winter are coming on fast. Also known as the soup seasons {yeah, I did make that up.}.
I love trying different soups, and finding my favorites for The Soup Seasons {I don't really have any...}. Thus, I bring to you...

Soup The Day!

Every month or week {I haven't decided yet} I'll try another soup. Sometimes they'll be homemade, sometimes bought. I'll rate it, saving you the trouble of trying it out {and perhaps not liking it} without knowing.

THE SOUP BRAND: Progresso

SOUP NAME: Chicken Cheese Enchilada

WHAT'S IN IT {MAIN}: Chicken broth, cooked white chicken meat, tomatoes, celery, onions, cream cheese.

WHAT I SUGGEST WITH IT: I had tortilla chips with it. Any Mexican side dish should be good, too.

HOW I HEATED IT: I used a microwave. I would suggest using a stove, though, because I like meat that feels cooked.

THOUGHTS: The soup was very thin {I like thicker, almost stew-like soups}. The chicken flavor wasn't strong at all.

RATE: I give it 2 stars. It was OK, but I wouldn't have it again.

What are your thoughts on Soup The Day!? Should I keep on doing it?

A post of Randomness

I have no idea what this might include.
I'm really bored right now, so I thought: 'Hey, why not bother my followers and post a weird post of randomness?!' So I am. Sorry, followers!
My family just got a new fridge, because the ice maker in the old one wasn't working. It's been really hot here, so I wanted to make a snowcone really badly, but I couldn't. And that made me sad. So today I did (just before posting) and I accidentally poured a lot of syrup of my snowcone. The French people would not approve.
You may be possibly wondering: 'Who are the French People?' Well, their French (people). It seems to make more sense at my point of view.  Anywho, I read this book called 'French Kids Eat Everything' one day because I was bored. It's really interesting, so I couldn't put it down. But I had to give it back to the library, so I never finished it. So I had to request it again, and there was like 8 more people who wanted it! I'll never finish it....
You are probably very bored now, and will keep reading for the sake of it. Good. Because I may have something semi-important here.
There have been lots of rumors about Caroline Abbott and the GOTY 2013. But that's not what I'm going to post about. ;p
1-I want to see BRAVE and Avengers very soon.
1- I may have to try wearing 24-carat gold earrings soon. If I have an allergic reaction to these earrings (there are certain ways to tell, so far the signs have not been good), I can hope that I won't get allergic to those earrings. But that means I can't buy all those cute (cheap) play earrings at Walmart and claire's. And that, right now, is my earring life goal (not my life goal, but my earring life goal).
If you read all of these, thank you! You rock.

Dolls Need Care, Too!

Hi, this is a guest post with....Felicity! Yay! We all know I'm your favorite, right? ;)

Anyway, this is a post about how to properly care for your doll's hair. We can't tell you when you brush too hard, so it's up to us to post it!
 Every doll needs to look her best, so.... no fly-aways! Brushing your dolls hair with a NEW tooth brush can take away those fly-aways!
REMINDER:
Remember not to brush your doll's hair with your toothbrush...always get a new un-used tooth brush!
 Properly caring for your doll's hair can insure years of silky fun hair, that can be styled many times! Also, NEVER EVER EVER use your doll hairbrush on your own hair!!!! Your hair has oils (everybody's hair does) that can damage your doll's hair, possibly leading to baldness.

 A few ideas of what you should have to style and care for your doll's hair:
*Tooth brush
*Hair-do-das
* AG Doll hairbrush
* Spry Bottle (not shown)
There are so many more ways to care for your dolls, other than just her hair! Try looking them up with parent's permission.

Help!

Hi this is Felicity!
I'm going to dine soon at the AG cafe, and as that is always a treat, I thought I'd dress up! Just one problem...I don't know what to wear! I'm going to show you two choices, and then you can choose on the poll bar to the right. Here are the options you can choose: #1 (pink dress), #2 (blue dress), or neither. Here we go!
 #1 (pink dress)
#2 (blue dress)
What do you think? I'll change my hair and add shoes for the dress you choose. Thanks!
~Felicity~
