Wednesday Hodgepodge

I just love how my blog looks, so I feel the urge to post everyday! Don't worry, I'll save you from that. ;)

1.  ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?  The NFL is back in action along with all the college teams.  Are you a fan?  Who do you root for?  If you're not a fan what do you do while the rest of America watches Saturday, Sunday, Monday night, and now Thursday night games?

I'm not a football fan. I root for the Stealers {I don't even know how to spell their name . . . is it the Steelers?}, but silently, and mentally in my head. I don't even watch their games {I know, I sound like a sad little loser. I'm sorry}.

2. What's something I'll always find in your closet?

Clothes {;)}, shoes, and bed sheets / blankets.

3. Share one of your earliest memories.

Whenever is was one of my family member's birthday, my grandmother would bring us brown bags with little gifts in them, even if it wasn't our birthday. :) She stopped doing it now, but we have grown up, after all.

4. What circus act best describes your week so far?

Whatever the circus gymnasts do. Sadly, I've never been to a circus.

5. What's a food you disliked as a child but you love now?

Green beans and zucchini. I had Farmer's Market green beans this afternoon, and they were lovely. Surprisingly, they tasted like potatoes.

6.  Describe your summer in three words.

Lazy. Boring. Energetic {I did summer ballet}

7.  Where were you on September 11, 2001? Will you do anything special to mark the day this year?

I don't know. I was JUST born then. I was probably sleeping. Or eating. Or anything other babies do.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

I have decided I want to move to London, England, when I'm 21 {maybe older}. Okay, gals, I'm serious about this. I already have a plan to save all my money, put it in my bank account {as so I can't spend it on clothes, speaking about that, I bought a charming tea and cookie ring from Etsy today. I'll post about that when it arrives}, and then when I'm old enough go and live in the ''wild''! Doesn't it sound exciting?!

P.S. I sold my Rebecca AG doll yesterday! I shipped her today. Any time now I should have more AG listings up. :)

AG post {Things I plan on selling}

I plan on selling these on Ebay, because I think it's a more likely place than Amazon. I'll update with listings when/if I put them up. :)

Bitty Baby. Close Cropped blonde hair, blue eyes. I think his/her eyelashes are pretty short, as well. Since I've had him for a long time, his vinyl parts are slightly dirty. Nothing a good wash won't fix, though, so I might be doing that later. :p :)
Molly. Her hair is in good condition. It's smooth, just it has that layer of frizz covering. The ends are frizzy, as well. Her eyelashes are long, plus her strings. No big marks on her vinyl parts, but I can't remember all that well. All marks will be posted on Ebay.
She comes with her white thingy, sweater, skirt, and both shoes. All of those are from AG.
Rebecca. Like I said with Molly, her hair is smooth but it has a layer of frizz covering it, so it's hard to tell. She has a blue mark on her ankle {or near}. Any other marks will be posted on Ebay. Her eyelashes are long, plus her strings.
She comes with her dress, tights, underwear, and boots.
One golden button is missing from her dress.
Felicity! I'm pairing her off with some dresses {Two from AG}, so I can sell her for more. ;)
Her eyelashes are short, but her hair is in amazing condition. Since she got a new head, it's rather loose. Her strings are long. All marks will be posted on Ebay with her listing.
 Her meet dress is from AG. {Click to see the tag.}
She will also come with two home-made, sewing-machine sewn dresses I bought.
And her riding outfit. Both pieces are from AG. Click to enlarge.

Bitty Baby 'Princess Outfit'. I'm pretty sure it's retired. I'll double check that later.
Bitty Baby meet outfit. This has been retired. All Bitty Baby outfits fit AGs.
This was home-made, and sewing-machine sewn. I bought it earlier.
 Same thing as above. :)
The McKenna exclusive outfit! It is fairly new, and has barely been played with. It comes complete, even with the box. I plan on selling it for the price of a normal AG outfit, $28 {or at least start the bidding there.... ;)}.

 It is from AG.
Some sort of Bitty outfit. :) I think this has been retired.
 Sweater, BB.
The Almost complete 'flower outfit' or something like that for Bitties. All that it is missing is the note bookthingy, and the Bitty Bear Tutu. It's from AG.
Half Completed outfit, it's from Ag.
Homemade, sewing-machine jeans. It was not made by me.-
Rebecca's hat and shawl.

What do you think? Does anything tickle your fancy? ;) ASAP, I'll have the listings up. :)

P.S. Want to know what's happening to the other dolls?
I am keeping Kit, Katie, and Kanani for normal play. The nicer Bitty and Samantha are staying on my dresser, as a family pass-on {hopefully} one day. I am returning Ivy, and I plan to sell Kenna in a year or so for about $150. :)

Clancy Drew

Hi, my name is Clancy Drew! I'm Nancy Drew's granddaughter (even when she got married she didn't change her last name, so my granddad decided to stick with it and changed his last name :p). I like to go on adventures; and solving mysteries. I kind of have a reputation not only for trouble-making now, but mystery solving...

I'd love to talk more (Mom says I have a talent); but  a super-duper mystery awaits! Maybe I can even post more about it later.....
~Clancy Drew,
age 12

A simple thing to do....

So, you know when you have those empty mini-boxes of cereal, and you might be thinking something along the lines of : 'These would be perfect for my dolls, but I really don't want those little pointy flaps sticking up'.
You might simply tape them down, but then it's all shiny and a little weird. So what should you do? Let's find out:
Gather all of your supplies, an adventure awaits! You'll need:
EMPTY mini-cereal box (s),
scissors,
ruler (or you can guess)
See these flaps? So look at the pink one. On the very pointy top it's probably about 1 and a half inches.
You want to cut off about a centimeter (or two) on both sides, so it's an inch (or just till it's an inch).
Flip that thingy around! You may not be able to notice, but I highlighted 'Kellogg's' in pink. :)
Take your scissors and poke a small hole to the left or right of the Kellogg's sign. You want to then cut it straight until it's about one inch and 2 centimeters long (so the flap can be stuck in). (You might need help in the poke the scissors in the pointy flap part)
Take your 1 inch flap and insert the narrow part into the cut you just created. You might need to make the cut bigger, though.
This is mine next to a un-opened box of Rice Krispies.
I got so annoyed when I saw that Frosted Flakes are 'of corn'. It was like, ' Oh my goodness! I thought they were made of BLUEBERRIES!'
And your done! Woot! (I'll explain Rebecca's outfit later, can you tell? She's wearing a Bitty Baby skirt as a top.)
So, all in all it might have been better/easier to tape it. But this way, it's more realistic.

Truth

Hola, peoples!
You've arrived just in time to ''view'' part 3 of Kenna Wants a Room:
Truth
So let's see, we left off at.... Um, Katie and Kenna had just received their heart-warming welcome gift. So let's see what happens next!
''Things aren't always as they appear...'' Katie muttered.
''Kenna! I know what they are! These are candy fish, not real ones! And the salt is bath salt, not cooking salt!'' Katie exclaimed.
Katie held out a candy fish to show Kenna.
''Urm, no thanks. I don't like fish either way,'' Kenna said and Katie plopped the candy into her mouth.
''But we still don't know who did this to us! And why?'' Kenna said.
''Well, there's only one thing we can do. Call in the suspects.''
Felicity, they decided, was first. (After rearranging their room)
''Did you see anything? Did you do it?'' Katie roughly asked.
''No, but...'' Felicity let out a shriek after a curly haired girl came in. ''It's her!'' She said, eyes wide, as she pointed at Rebecca.
Was it Rebecca?
Or will Katie and Kenna find the real gift-giver?
P.S. Vote for me in the writing contest by emailing Nora at nora.demington@gmail.com and saying,
''I vote for Princess Katie (entry number six)''
Thanks! Remember, I'll have a you pick Ag outfit if I win!!!

Kenna Wants a Room, an AG photo story

Hey yall!
I figured if I moved my desk I'd have more room for a AG room! So, I did. Now comes the trouble... Who gets it? Let's find out in this AG photo story!
''Hi, Kenna. As you're new here, I figured I'd ask you if you need any help?'' Becca asked.
''Well,....I want a room,'' Kenna replied.
 ''A room!'' Becca exclaimed.
''What's the trouble?!'' Katie came in, short of breath.
 ''Kenna wants a room!''
''Then she can have it. Do you like it, Kenna?'' Katie asked, leading them to a large room.
''Just one thing... It's meant for two dolls.''
Kenna was startled. She wanted a room, not a room mate!
Will Kenna agree to sharing a room?
Or will she abandon her ideas?
I hoped you all liked it!
