Interview with the Spicys!

Woah, I've been on a roll! Today I'm interviewing The Spicys!

1. How did you find out about American Girl?

Kay Jun: That was pretty much back in the dinosaur age, so I don't remember totally. I think my grandma sent me a catalog.

 

Holly Pino: I don't remember! It was around when I was six or seven when I really got interested in them.

2.Who was the first Spicy, and why?


 Kay Jun's first Spicy was Samantha (Not featured as one of the Spicy Six.) She choose her because she like the time period she came from. Holly Pino's first Spicy was a GOTZ doll, who ironically was very similar in looks to Samantha. Those were the very first Spicys, and we will always love them forever!

 3. Which Spicy blogs the most?

Kay Jun blogs most on The Spicys, but we try and keep it fairly even. We both have personal blogs, and Holly posts more on her blog.

4. Do you have any other blog(s)?

As we said above, we both have personal blogs . We have both been blogging for several years on diffrent blogging platforms.

5. Do you make your own doll clothes (or have you ever tried)?

Holly Pino used to make doll clothes quite often! She has not in recent years but she used to be quite good. Kay Jun has never really "completed" an outfit for her dolls before, but she hopes to soon!

Ex-Twins?

Time for another part of....
KENNA WANTS A ROOM! PART 4................
Ex-Twins?

 They got Becca to sit down. ''No, it's not her. But I know it's somebody with brown or black hair!'' Felicity exclaimed.

 And so Becca was let out, or, A.K.A. (she got to sit and watch on the bunk bed)

 Samantha was next.

 ''No,'' said Felicity sadly.

 And so Samantha sat down...

 ''Honestly; why would I, um, do that? I'm not um, like that?'' Kanani said, making them laugh.

 And so they let Kanani sit...

 And then Kit got her turn.

 ''Kit's blond, we don't need to question her,'' Kenna said.

 ''So I don't get a turn just because of my hair? So unfair!'' Kit said.

 And so Kit stormed to the lower bunk.

 ''Okay, um, we know Molly wouldn't do that. She spends too much time reading and studying (disclaimer from Molly: I DO NOT!!!). But that leaves.... Ivy!''

 ''Why would she do that? She's my twin!'' Kenna wailed.
Did Ivy really do it?
Or are the girls hopelessly lost?
So, part 5 will hopefully be the last.

40 days of Lent, 40 days of hairstyles. day 6

Is it really day six? Has it really been that long? Today Samantha wanted a turn. I decided to let her, because sometimes I think I don't play with my dolls who have frizzy hair as much as the ones with nice hair. :o) Felicity was begging for a turn to....style Samantha's hair! As the ''newest doll'', I couldn't say no!
Today's Style:
TOP BRAID! (If you can help me come up with better names please comment!)
P.S. I'm doing a new thing called Find the Mini! it's where you look for a mini AG doll. Since it didn't come out as bright as I had hoped I'll give you a hint...It's in the first picture, somewhere in the bunk bed.

 Here is Felicity, waiting for a turn to style. As you can see, she's too bored to smile. ;o)

 Then Samantha walks in! I decided to let Felicity try to style on Samantha.

 Samantha sits down, and the fun begins!

 This is what you'll need.  Either a large or small bobby pin (small is better), and a hair brush.

 Take three sections of hair.

 And braid, the small bobby pin is only their to help it not to come out.

 Pull braid over to other side. Felicity had a little trouble, so she had to lean!

 Put bobby pin in.

 Try to hide it with hair.

 And ta-da! Look at Samantha!

P.S. I'm thinking about cutting the ends of Sam's hair. What do you think?
